This note comes from Mom Sandy Flanery, KCJD Line Club Sponsor, regarding their next meeting:

Buenos Dias Missouri Jobies! Happy Cinco De Mayo. We had an awesome time at HIKE this weekend. Kudos to all of Missouri Daughters for bringing in $2900+ for HIKE. I was the lucky Mom that got to collect the donations. We are looking forward to hosting Mid-America HIKE next year.

To the KC Bethels -- A friendly reminder that the May KCJD Line Meeting will be on Sunday, May 18th and Bethel #7 - Smithville will be hosting the meeting. The meeting starts @ 2:00pm. We will hold election of officers so please, KC Bethel Guardians, ask your line officers to attend this meeting.

Another friendly reminder from your President Katy Lillard... please bring their 2 pairs of socks for the sock basket. Let's beat the 50 pairs from last years basket.

If you're confused about the date for the meeting ... May's meeting was moved up a week because of Conclave being the fourth weekend.

Don't forget to bring your KCJD Line T-shirt Orders to the meeting.  The first order will go in on Monday, the 19th. Shirts are $10 each.  Order forms are under Bethel Sales on the website.

Have a great week!

Adios,
Mom Sandy Flanery
KCJD Line Sponsor

This note comes from Mom Marlene Frakes, Western HIKE Coordinator, regarding the recent Mid-America HIKE:

Congratulations on the great job at Mid-America HIKE. The total for all four states was $6,615.50. The details are posted under HIKE-MO. It was really neat to have 9 MO Bethels in attendance and most of them were from St Louis. Way to go. I know that some of you couldn't come (Prom time) but have had your own special project. Please send the money to me ASAP so it can be counted for the GGC year. If you are one of the daughters working on your $1000 for the HIKE Medallion remember the money must be to the HIKE Board Executive Secretary Dad Terrill by June 1. If you send it direct, PLEASE let me know as I keep a record.

Also reminder.. the applications for the Daughter HIKE Committee is due May 10. If you are a current committee member and wish to continue you MUST reapply. The application is on the website.

Remember we will have "I Get Served First" tickets for sale. The drawing ill be around noon on Thursday June 26. The HIKE Committee has tickets and we will have a table at Grand Session.

Again.. Hooray Missouri... Great Job....
Mom Frakes
