William Harry Austin, retired Cmdr USN, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010. He was the Brother of Ethel (Austin) Kean MM #7, Uncle of Claire Lindsey, PBG #29, & Skip Lindsey PABG #29, Great Uncle of Heather (Lindsey) Donahoo PHQ #29, and Jeremy Lindsey, PMC Independence DeMolay, and the Great-great Uncle of Amanda and Haley Lindsey, #33. A memorial will be held in Virginia Beach, VA with later interment in Arlington Cemetery. |

Margaret Y. Duvall (nee Yeager), the Mother of Susan Duvall, PHQ #47, and Steven Duvall; Beloved wife of Gary Duvall; dear grandmother of Alyson Duvall; our dear sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Margaret was also a former Bethel Council Member of Bethel #47. The Visitation was held on Monday, February 22 at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Road, St. Louis MO 63123-4036. The Funeral was held at Kutis Affton Chapel on Tuesday, February 23, with Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the deGreeff Hospice House appreciated. |

Kathryn T. Wallace, the Mother of John Wallace, member of Smithville Lodge #438, and Mother-In-Law of Julia Wallace, PHQ, PBG #7, Grandmother of Jaclyn Wallace, PHQ, and Erica Wallace, PHQ and Past Miss Missouri Job's Daughter, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Bethesda-Dilworth Nursing Center in Kirkwood, MO. The Visitation was held on Monday, February 22 at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO. The Funeral was held at Bopp Chapel, on Tuesday, February 23, with interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. We received word from Janice Weber, BG #5, that Bob and Helen Alcorn, the parents of Kim Alcorn Hill, PHQ #13, passed away. Helen passed away on May 24, 2009 and Bob passed away late January, 2010 in Wisconsin. They moved to be near Kim, in Wisconsin, about five or six years ago. |

Geri Kay Ryan, PGG-IL, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2009. Geri Kay was a tremendous supporter of Job's Daughters and had attended many Missouri events over the past years, including several Grand Sessions, and was instrumental in putting on many Illinois-Missouri joint meetings. The Visitation was held on Wednesday December 30 at Kurrus Funeral Home, 1773 Frank Scott Parkway West, Belleville IL 62223-4845. The Funeral was at Durrus Funeral Home on Thursday December 31. There was be a meal and celebration of her life afterward at Albert's Restaurant in Belleville. |

Kaci Travis Kobel, PHQ #7, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009. Kaci was preceded in death by her sister, Krickett McLelland, PHQ #7. The visitation was held on Tuesday, December 22 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, Missouri. A celebration of Kaci's life was held on Wednesday, December 23, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Contributions may be made c/o Edward Jones to assist in Tanner and Tyler's college education. Shirley Anne O'Dell, Grandmother of Kirstie Thompson, PHQ #7, Mother of Jennifer Thompson, Director of Promotion #29, Mother-In-Law of Stanley Thompson, PGM-MO, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2009. She was fatally injured in an automobile accident on Highway 65 near Lincoln, Missouri while travelling with friends to Branson, Missouri. Mrs. O'Dell was cremated and a Memorial Service was held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Henrietta, Missouri Baptist Church, just south of Richmond, Missouri on Highway 13. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Mary Lou Biggs, PGG-MO, Mother of daughters Jan Braswell, Pam Faerber, Beth Biggs and Nanette Biggs (Deceased). Mary Lou was an accomplished woman ahead of her time! She is a graduate of Washington University, with a BA Business, 1947, and a Masters in Education, 1969. She worked with husband Don in their home improvement business for many years and then was a guidance counselor at Lindbergh High School. She is most remembered as a leader of young people. In addition to inspiring her four daughters, she chartered two Job’s Daughter’s groups, and also served as Grand Guardian for the state of Missouri. In 1959 she was the first woman elected to serve on the Board of Education for the Affton School District. She was very active in area politics, serving in leadership roles in several political campaigns. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13 at 2:00 at St. Louis Family Church in Chesterfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Louis Shriner’s Hospital for Children, or the charity of your choice. |

Mary Jane Matushek, mother of Linda Muenier, MM #12, PBG #43, Grand Marshal, the late Connie (Matushek) Johnson, PHQ #12 and grandma of Mary Johnson, HQ #43 passed away on August 1st, 2009. We received the following message from Linda: It is with deepest sorrow that I need to inform you that on August 1st, my mom left this world to be with her husband in heaven. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts, cards and well wishes. She was a fantastic mom and will be missed by one and all. Grandma Mary, as she was known to everyone, was a huge supporter of Job's Daughters. She was active with Bethel #12's Mother's Club and made biscuits for Bethel #12's Homestyle Breakfast for numerous years. After her grand-daughter Mary joined Bethel #43, she became just as active there attending activities and being a supporter for the girls. The Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at JB Smith Funeral Home, 777 Oakwood Drive, Fenton MO 63143. Bethel #43 & Bethel #12 will do the Living Cross at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 4 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 5020 Rhodes at South Kingshighway, St. Louis MO 63109, with a Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. Following the service the family is inviting everyone to Fenton Masonic Temple for socializing, fellowship and lunch. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. in Belle, Missouri next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations to Connie's Closet will be appreciated by the family. |

From Sasha's posting on Facebook: Margaret Mary Conrad was born at 20 weeks on Tuesday, July 21, 2009. She lived just long enough to be baptized and touch our hearts with gratitude at God's amazing gift of life; It's a pretty amazing thing to know that our firstborn already sits before the throne of God to intercede for us and whisper our prayers to Him. Thank you all for your prayers, visits, flowers, and food. May God Bless your every kindness. |
